Fillings

Composite resin fillings closely match the natural color of your teeth and are virtually invisible. Aside from their inconspicuous appearance, resin fillings are better for your teeth because it requires less removal of tooth structure and may be safer than traditional amalgam fillings, which contain mercury. The amalgam fillings also place undue pressure on the remaining tooth structure causing cracks in the teeth which can lead to more invasive treatment. We can help you choose between amalgam and resin fillings based on which type of material would best suit the tooth you need to have filled.
