Dr. Madison Bissette Capel grew up a native of eastern North Carolina, born and raised in the small town of Wilson. She attended North Carolina State University, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in biological sciences. She then continued her studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery. Supplementing her education with elective courses in maternal and child health and pediatric dental emergencies, Dr. Bissette Capel loves all aspects of general dentistry, but finds special joy in providing well-rounded and comprehensive care to young families. Dr. Bissette Capel has spent every summer in Carteret County with her family since she was a child. She has considered the surrounding areas a home away from home since as long as she can remember and is very excited to be making this tight-knit community her permanent residence. In her free time, Dr. Bissette Capel can be found spending time with her husband, Duke, and their black lab, Stella. She enjoys spending time on the water with family and friends, attending as many UNC sporting events as possible, and continuing to pursue her lifelong passion for horses.
