Holly loves seeing the new smile of patients who have never felt comfortable with the appearance of their teeth. She is thrilled to spend her days changing lives, one person and one smile at a time. Working closely with Dr. Coates, Holly assists him while supporting our patients. She makes sure they are comfortable, and at the end, checks to see that they are happy.
A Craven County native, Holly has a son, Christopher. Horseback riding and teaching are her passions. For more than 20 years she has volunteered as a coach with the equine Special Olympics. Holly has three horses: Maggie Mace, Slick, and Fudge.

Dental Assistant II
Dee Dee loves to meet patients and help them transform their oral health and smile. For her, seeing the finished, healthy, and happy smiles means she’s helped make a real and lasting difference in a person’s life. Working with patients, Dee Dee takes X-rays and digital photos. She also works chairside during procedures, and educates patients about their dental health.
A Carteret County native, Dee Dee is happily married to her husband Joe, a retired Marine. Together they have two daughters, Katie and Hailey, and a miniature schnauzer, Trevor. The family loves cooking together, traveling, and gardening.
Linda loves helping patients get the care they need, when they need it. Like the rest of our team, she strives to make every visit a positive experience and ensure that patients are smiling at the end. She handles our accounts receivable, answers the phone, and schedules appointments. Working with patients, Linda helps them understand and make the most of their dental insurance.
Originally from Boston, Linda and her husband Jeff, a retired Marine, have been married for more than 30 years. Their son Jeffrey and his wife Amy-Jo live in Fayetteville. Their daughter Amanda lives in Greenville. Linda enjoys reading, golfing, and attending church.
Raelynn loves helping people realize that a healthy and beautiful smile is within their reach. She works one-to-one with patients during their hygiene visits, taking X-rays, supporting the hygienists, and focusing on education. It’s important to Raelynn that patients understand their unique oral health needs and how they can keep their mouth healthy between cleanings.
Raelynn’s husband Cameron is a retired Marine. Together they have five children, six grandchildren, and two dogs, Ruby and Ginger. Raelynn is originally from California; the Marine Corps brought her family to North Carolina and she loves it here.
Registered Dental Hygienist
Kerrie loves partnering with our patients in their journey to better oral health. Stressing the connection between a healthy mouth and overall wellness, Kerrie educates patients on why it’s important to keep their mouth in great shape. She provides gentle periodontal therapy, takes X-rays, and encourages patients to adopt healthy habits.
Originally from Detroit, Kerrie has called North Carolina her home for more than 20 years. Her two beautiful daughters, Abigail and Anna, attend Croatan High School. Most of her family’s free time is spent at the beach or boating on the Crystal Coast.
Practice Administrator and Registered Dental Hygienist
Dawn loves working with our patients to inspire them to take control of their dental health and smile. She focuses on educating them about their specific oral health needs and how they can keep their mouth and smile healthy and beautiful. In addition to providing gentle dental cleanings, Dawn handles our office and team management, and human resources, including team training. She also oversees accounts payable, marketing, and supply management.
Dawn and her husband C.D. have three boys: Cameron, Carter, and Lathan. She’s a Carteret County native who loves supporting her sons’ football and baseball activities. Dawn also enjoys cooking and decorating.
With her warm and friendly smile, Mimi greets our patients and checks them in. She loves to make our patients feel at home and welcome during their visits. She keeps our schedule running smoothly, so the team can focus on what’s important: our patients! Mimi answers the phones, schedules visits, collects and enters patient data into our system, and checks patients out.
Mimi enjoys spending her time off with her son Logan, especially going to the beach and boating. They have a 17-year-old cat, Mijay. Mimi was born and raised in the North Carolina mountains and moved to Morehead City in 2001.
Deirdre loves helping patients understand the link between oral and whole body health. She talks with each patient about specific dental concerns. Then she provides them with the tools and information needed to take control of their mouth and smile. During visits, Deidre cleans teeth, treats periodontal disease, and encourages her patients to make healthy choices.
When she’s not working, Deidre enjoys time with her husband Jeff, as well as their four children and the family’s yellow lab, Teak. She loves attending her children’s sporting events, horseback riding, boating, and time at the beach.
